LESSON PROCEDURE
I. Introductions and Greetings
Song

"Good Morning Dear Pupils" (song #1.6)
- Do the special greeting with gestures.
- Max goes around the class and asks: What is your name? How are you
today? How do you feel? What color is your hair? What color are your
eyes? What is your telephone number?
- Pupils respond and shake Max's hand.

"I Know Many Letters of the ABC" (song #2.35)
- Add to the song the new letters: N, R.
●
"Days of the Week" (song #1.34)
II. English Adventure Map

Tell pupils: I am very happy because we have arrived at another stop on
our map - the My Face and My Body stop.
- Point to the stop on the map and put the small figure of Max there.
- Ask pupils to remind you what they learned on the way to this stop: topics,
stories, vocabulary, etc.

Tell pupils: Today we are celebrating the end of our second ABC unit.
Of course, Max is here. Let’s show Max all the letters we have learned
in this unit.
- Sing "ABC" (song #1.42): Point to letters learned. Pupils stand up when they
hear a letter in their name.
- Tell pupils: Let’s review the Little Red Riding Hood story from last time.
- Put the lettercards for R, G, W on the board.
- Ask pupils who the main characters in the story are. Elicit Little Red Riding
Hood, Grandmother, wolf.
- As pupils say the names, point to the correct beginning letter of each name
and make a check under it.
