strangers, and safety rules.
- Ask pupils if there are places where they go alone. Encourage pupils to
share their thoughts and feelings.
- Discuss how important it is to go only to familiar places when pupils are
alone, and to talk only to people they know. Also discuss how important it
is to tell parents where they are going when pupils leave the house and to
do what parents tell them.
- Ask pupils what they would do if they were on their way to the supermarket
and they met a friend who wanted to play with them.
- Brainstorm different situations in which pupils notify their family when they
are out alone or going somewhere.

- Ask them if they know the story.
