I. Introductions and Greetings

Days of the Week
- Ask pupils: What day is today?
- Review tomorrow and yesterday and all the days of the week.
- Have a few pupils try and say all the days of the week. Put up the flashcards
as they say them.

Model the following dialogue with Max, and then between Max and
individual pupils:
- What is your name?
- Are you a boy or a girl?
- How are you today?
- How do you feel?
Pupil to Pupil

Ask pupils to turn to their neighbor and ask two or three questions.
The neighbor responds and then asks the first pupil a few questions.
- Tell pupils to practice their dialogue until it is easy for them to do.
- Have a few pairs conduct their dialogue in front of the class.
II. Vocabulary
Classroom Objects - Review
- Ask: Where are we? Elicit: in the classroom.
- Ask: What is in your bag? What is on your desk?
- Elicit answers.
