- Hold up a picture of a girl and ask the girls to complete the sentence: I am
a girl. I can _________ . Hold up a picture of a boy and repeat. This is a
good time to discuss the falseness of "stereotypes" and emphasize the fact
that girls can do what boys do and boys what girls do.
- Put up on the board flashcards of animals from the story From Head to Toe.
Have pupils come to the board, pick a flashcard and say: I am a _____ .
I can ________. and do the action.
- Now say: I can clap my hands. Who am I? Put #1 next to the picture. #2
I can bend my neck. #3 I can wave my arms. #4 I can arch my back.

head. #8 I can wiggle my toe. #9 I can thump my chest.
- Now say: I am a seal, what can I do?
- Do the same with the rest of the animals.
