- Do the gestures for listen and quiet.
- Ask pupils: Can you listen? They answer: Yes, I can.
- Tell pupils that they can do many things. Go around the room and ask them
to say: I can _____ (using previously learned vocabulary). Help pupils
with words they do not know.
- Model a few examples for pupils.
- Max says: I can kiss (kiss, kiss), can you? Pupils answer: Yes, I can and
send kisses.
- Say: I can jump (jump up and down), can you? Pupils answer: Yes, I can.
- Say: I can sing (la, la la), can you? I can read, draw, etc.
- Pupils may repeat what others have already said. All answers are
acceptable.
- After each pupil volunteers an answer, say: Good! Wonderful!
- Tell pupils: You can do so many things!
