- Do the same with wiggle your ears and wiggle your nose.
- Stand near a pupil and say: I can close my mouth. Can you do it? Have
the pupil say: I can do it and do the action.
- Repeat with several pupils.
New Parts of the Body and Movements
- Say: I can turn my head. Can you do it? Pupils say: Yes, I can and do the
movement.
- Repeat this procedure with: bend your neck, raise your shoulders, move
your shoulders around, bend your knees, touch your back, move your
hips around.
- As you mention the new parts of the body, point to them and model the
movement for pupils to imitate.
- Ask a pupil to come to the front of the room, do a movement and say:
I can _____ . Can you do it? The class replies: Yes, I can and does the
movement.

On the board, draw a torso with a head, neck and face.
- Have pupils come to the board and help you draw the parts of the body
that they have learned.
- Point to the neck and say: This is a neck.
- Put your head back and say: I have a long neck. Have pupils repeat after
you. Ask them: Which animal has a long neck?
- Point to your back and say: This is a back (touch your back). Again, have
pupils repeat after you.
- Do the same for hips (move them around), knees (bend them) and shoulders
(move them around in circles)
- When possible, point also to the part of the body on the torso on the board.

Mime Game (game #21)
- Before playing, review together: I wiggle my hips, I raise my shoulders,
I touch my back, I bend my knees, I bend my neck.
- Have one pupil leave the room while the class decides on a movement.
- Model the movement and have pupils do the movement together.
- When the class chants "Knocking On the Door" (song #1.17), the pupil
returns to the room.
- The class repeats the chosen movement, over and over.
- Ask the pupil: What are we doing? The pupil tries to guess the movement.
- The class continues moving until the pupil guesses correctly.
- To reward the pupil for a correct answer, s/he chooses the movement for
the next pupil to guess.
