There are a lot of things you can do outside.
What are your favorite things to do?
1. I like to camp. I sleep outside. I bring food and warm clothes.
2. I like to ride around the park. I got a new bicycle for my birthday.
3. I like to climb mountains. I wear good shoes and bring a lot of water.
4. I like to have picnics outside. I bring sandwiches and sit on the grass.
5. I like animals. I have a pet horse. I ride my horse in the forest.
6. I like to plant flowers in my garden. I give my flowers water.

After listening, ask pupils which of the activities they like to do and which they do not.

Review the vocabulary using the word cards before doing the activity.

Ask pupils what all the words have in common. Determine that they are all verbs.

Act out a word and have the pupils guess the word you are miming.
Have the pupil who guessed correctly come to the board to play the next round. Play several
rounds to practice the words.
The activity can be done as a whole class or as a team/small group competition.
