Ask pupils what these words have in common. Elicit that they are all words to talk about people.
Have pupils point to and read each new word in their Course Books on page 24.

Ask pupils to say the opposite of: adult (child/kid), old (young).
•
Remind pupils that they have previously learned the word "old" (ןéָָ י/)قديم, and that the word has
another meaning in English (ןçֵָ ז/)عجوز.

Ask different pupils: How old are you? (Elicit: I am ___ years old.) Are you old or young? Are you an
adult or a child? Who in your family is a husband? (Elicit: My grandfather/uncle/father/brother is a
husband.) Who in your family is a wife? (Elicit: My Grandmother/aunt/mother/sister is a wife.)
