Review the vocabulary using the word cards: what, when, where, which, who, why.

Ask pupils what these words have in common. Elicit that these are words we use in English to ask
questions, and that they all begin with WH.
Review lexical chunks that use the question words. Ask different pupils: What is your address?
When is your birthday? Where do you live? Who is your teacher? Which season is your
favorite? Why?
Ask pupils: Do you have question words in your language? (Elicit any logical answer.)
