Joy: *cough cough* I do not feel very good. I think I am sick. I should call a doctor&
*ring ring*
RoboDoc: Hello, my name is RoboDoc.
Joy: Hello, my name is Joy. Are you a doctor?
RoboDoc: I am a computer doctor. I know a lot about science and how to care for our bodies.
I can answer your questions and give you advice to help you feel better.
Joy: OK. I do not feel very good. I am sick. *cough*
RoboDoc: You should stay in bed today and rest. You should eat hot soup and drink tea.
Joy: OK. Can I go to school tomorrow?
RoboDoc: It is not a good idea to go to school when you are sick. You can make other kids
sick. You should stay home. When you feel better, you can go back to school.
Joy: OK. How can I talk to you if I have more questions?
RoboDoc: You can use the application on your phone to talk to me. You can ask me questions
without leaving your house.
Joy: Thanks, RoboDoc.
RoboDoc: Feel better soon!
•
After listening, check if pupils9 predictions were correct. Determine that Joy is speaking with
RoboDoc, a computer doctor. Ask pupils why Joy was speaking with RoboDoc (Elicit: She is sick.)
