train service in the city. Elicit what the pupils have learned from reading the text.

Elicit a personal response from the pupils: Is there a fast train in your city? Do you know any cities

Elicit some of the words by doing a gesture and having the pupils say the word. Elicit the actions
in the Present Progressive: I am turning around. I am crossing the street, etc.
Ask different pupils: Do you walk to school? How do you get here? (Elicit directions from pupils from
their house to school, e.g., Go straight, then turn right, then cross the street.)
