Ask: What day is it today? (Elicit the full date and write it on the board: Today is (Sunday), (February
21). Have pupils copy the date into their notebooks.

Go around the room and ask different pupils: Does our city/town have (a museum)? (Elicit: Yes/No)
Vocab Activity

Do the activity to review the vocabulary (show the word cards): art, artist, center, city, cinema,
hospital, house, library, museum, music, neighbor, park, police, radio, restaurant, school, store,
street, theater, town.

Review the vocabulary using the word cards before doing the activity.

associate with it. For example, say "radio" and pupils may respond "music."
