her question with a personal response.

After reading the text in task 3, ask pupils to answer Doctor Kim9s question.
•
Ask pupils the following questions. Encourage responses in English and emphasize the target
vocabulary in the pupils' answers. Reassure pupils that there is not one correct answer.
1. Do you think being happy is important for your health? (Elicit any logical response.)
2. What do you do when you are sad or mad to feel better?
3. What are things that make you feel happy?

Before listening, have pupils predict what each person enjoys doing based on the pictures.

Have pupils listen to what each person does to be happy and healthy and match them to the correct
picture.
