In Denmark, we like to
eat open sandwiches
as a healthy snack.
My favorite open
sandwich has fish
and vegetables.
In Japan, we like to
eat a healthy snack
called onigiri.
Onigiri are rice
balls.
To make an open sandwich, first
choose your bread. Second, add
fruits, vegetables, cheese, or fish to
the bread. Do not put bread on top.
Now, enjoy your open sandwich.
To make onigri, cook white rice. Then,
mix the rice with vegetables or fish
and make the rice into balls.
My grandmother makes the best
onigri!
