Have the students look at the picture at the bottom of page 51.
Ask:
• What do you think Albert sees through his telescope?
Have the students guess and say as many things as they can that are in the classroom.
Encourage them to use ‘He sees …’.
OPTION: Have the students do this exercise in pairs, discussing
what Albert is looking at. Each pair has to make a list of as many
things as they can think of that Albert might see.

. Have the students look at the pictures and use the substitution
table to make up sentences that describe the pictures.

They should write at least three sentences, one for each picture. Encourage those who can
