Review prepositions of place (in, on, under, next to) via the picture on pages 2-3 and ask:
• Where is the ball? (next to the chair)
• Where is the telephone? (on the desk)
• Where is the bird? (on the chair)
• Where are the flippers? (translate to L1) (under the chair)
• Where is the juice? (in the glass)
• Etc.
WKBK: Have the students turn to workbook pages 2-3 and do exercises 1-4.

vocabulary to enable the students to approach the work more easily.

Have the students look at the pictures. Ask them if they noticed them before.

Review the subject pronouns with the students, making sure the
pronouns are clear and their use is familiar. Provide a few
examples of how the pronouns are used in English. Ask the
students to compare the English subject pronouns to pronouns
in their own language. How are they different or the same?
