HOTS: COMPARE AND CONTRAST
Tell the students that they will be making their own photo.
They will need:
• a camera
• a printer
• a pencil or pen
• workbook page 229
ALC: Students provide an
oral, written or visual
response to a literary text.
They will be working with two friends. They will take a selfie photo of the three of them and
then answer the questions. They could either print it out and stick the photo on card and
make a small poster or use PowerPoint to make a presentation of their picture and their
answers.
They should use the sentence prompts on page 229 in the workbook.
They should use the checklist on page 241 of the workbook to make sure they’ve done
everything needed.
You can use the checklist below to evaluate their task.
