. Have the students match each word to its definition in their notebooks.

below it.

. Let’s Play: Have the students play in two teams. Divide the board into two. On each side,
write the words that you want to review. Try to include as many of the new words as
possible as a form of review. There should be one word for each member of each team, but
the numbers should be equal.
In turn, one member of each team comes up to the board. He or she points to a word and
reads it. If it was read correctly, the word is erased and the next representative comes up.
The game continues until the first team to erase all the words wins.
OPTIONS: Instead of simply having them read, have them say the meaning/definition, use it
in a sentence.
