these elements compare
with their home language.

using the opposite adjective.

adjective for each sentence in . happy – sad / big –small / clean – dirty / young – old. After
they’ve done this they should use the structure in the sentences and change the verb to the
negative form and use the opposite adjective.
WKBK: Have the students turn to workbook pages 149-150 and do exercises 5-8.
11. Let’s Do It!
WKBK: Have the students turn to workbook page 151 and fill in the
questionnaire about a cartoon character of their choosing. You can
brainstorm some character ideas if they need help.
Some ideas: Any of the Pokémon characters, Sponge Bob, Mickey
Mouse, Goofy, Scooby Doo, Spiderman, Bat Man, Bugs Bunny.
P: Students use given
criteria, such as a
checklist/rubric to
prepare presentations.
They should use the checklist on page 244 of the workbook to make sure they’ve done
everything needed.
You can use the checklist in the following page to evaluate their task.
