Have the students read Part 2 of the story quietly. Then read it with them or to them and
ask:

• What does the baby animal look like? (it has a head like a seahorse, a long neck and
a tail)
• What kind of animal do Kirstie and Angus think it is? (a baby monster)
• What does Angus think the baby monster wants? (food)
