Sam: That’s great! What is he making a movie about? Is there someone in the lake?
Orson: Yes, there is…and here she comes now! (splashing sounds as someone comes out of
the water) This is Adele Ali. Adele is a very good swimmer. She is the monster in our new
movie. Say ‘hello’, Adele.
Adele (muffled): Hello, Mr. Walls! Let me take off my monster head…(F/X) There! Whew!
Swimming in the lake with this big monster head is hard work!
Sam: Hello, Adele. So, Mr. Walls, your new movie has a monster, and a lake….
Orson and Adele: That’s right. And the name of our new movie is… “The Legend of the Lake
Monster II!”
(We hear everyone clapping and laughing and taking pictures. Then suddenly we hear a
sound echo over the lake—the same sound the kids heard at the beginning of the unit.
