Have the students turn to pages 90-91 and look at the picture in
the double spread. Read the heading of the section with them,
“What is Happening in Pine Lake?” Make sure they notice the
cinema sign with the announcement of the movie playing tonight.
There are people at the restaurant. There is a bookstore, a café,
and someone/something in a small boat on the lake.
