Read the title of the story together with the pupils: The
Sandwich Party

Say: Look at the pictures from the story. What do you see?
(Elicit some vocabulary from the images on the page, for
example: table, sandwich, children, bread, etc.)

Say: The first story we are going to read is called The
Sandwich Party.
Point to the image of the sandwich party invitation and ask pupils if they recognize it. Remind
them that they read the invitation in a previous lesson.
Before reading the story, say: Let’s listen and number the pictures.
1 Please come to my sandwich party!
2 It is ten o'clock.
3 The children come to the party.
4 The children make a sandwich.
5 Look at the big sandwich!
