Show your Legendary Stories & More book to the class. Say: This is the Stories & More book.

Explain to pupils that they must not write in the Stories & More books. Ask pupils to bring a blank
notebook with them to class every day, in which they will write their answers. You may want to
send a message to the class before the lesson, so pupils have time to get the appropriate
supplies.
▪
Take a few minutes to have pupils write their first and last names in English on their notebooks,
as well as the name/number of their class. Have pupils write English Notebook on the cover.
▪
Remind pupils that their names should begin with a capital letter.

Read the poem together as a class.
▪
Answer the questions orally as a class or have pupils record their answers in their English
Notebooks.

The Sandwich Party (game #ICT1)

Use the image of the Sandwich Party to practice vocabulary related to food and drinks.
▪
Play the game to review and practice the vocabulary: apple, banana, chocolate cake, cookie, egg,
jam, juice, pizza, sandwich, water.
▪
Invite volunteers to the front to listen and click on the item at the party according to what they
hear. Example: Where are the apples?
▪
The teacher may choose to play the game as a team competition in class.
