Say: Ask and answer the questions to complete the table.

Show pupils that the first line in the table is an example.

Have pupils perform the dialogue with at least three friends in the class. Challenge strong pupils
(or a strong class) to survey more pupils. Give pupils some time to do this.

Say: Open your Course Books to page 27. Look at #3.

Review and practice new vocabulary by asking pupils to look at the picture of the
Sandwich Party and circle words they know.

Elicit as many words as the pupils can remember from the picture, including
but not only the words that were taught on page 26. Point to or circle the
items on the board as the pupils say them.

Words that can be elicited include (but are not limited to): apple, bag, ball,
banana, book, boy, cake, cat, chocolate, cookie, dog, egg, friends, girl, hat,
jam, juice, pizza, sandwich, sun, water.
Ask questions to elicit the words: What do you see? Who do you see? Who has (a banana)?

Where is (the chocolate cake)? (Elicit sentences using the prepositions "on, in, next to, near,
under," e.g.: The chocolate cake is next to the jam.)
Ask (use L1 if necessary): What do you think is happening in the picture? (Elicit any logical response,
for example: The kids are having a party. They made a big sandwich.)
