Say: Open your Stories & More book to page 137.

Play the game with a partner.
▪
Provide each pair of pupils with one die and colored game pieces.
▪
As they are playing the game, encourage pupils to speak in English to communicate with their
partner.
Explain the rules of the game to the pupils:

Show pupils where to start and where to finish.
▪
Throw the die. Move forward according to the number on the dice.
▪
Say the word you land on. If you are correct, move forward one space. If you are not correct,
move back one space.
▪
If you land on a green arrow, move ahead. If you land on a red arrow, go back.
▪
The winner is the one who reaches the finish line first.

Remind the pupils of the different topics and words that were covered by showing them Course Book
page 235.

Ask pupils if they recognize the image. Remind pupils that they saw the image in the beginning of the
unit (part 1).

Point and ask: What’s the weather? (Elicit the weather/temperature: It is (windy and rainy).
▪
How can you travel the world? (Point and elicit: You can travel by airplane/boat/bus/etc.)
Review vocabulary by asking pupils to look at the picture of the world and say words they know, or
ask: What do you see?

Ask pupils to point out new words they have learned that they didn’t know the first time they
saw the image (in Part 1).
▪
Words that can be elicited include (but are not limited to): airplane, boat, train, bus, car, drive,
elephant, float, fly, water, world, country, travel, trip, snow, sun, tree, city, etc.
Ask different pupils: Do you want to travel the world? Where do you want to go on a trip? What
countries did you visit? What countries do you want to travel to?
