Review the vocabulary using the flashcards: city, country, Israel, town, travel, trip, visit, world.
▪
Ask: Who remembers? (Elicit the words.)
▪
Have pupils repeat the words.
Have pupils think about where they went on their last trip. Ask different pupils (pupils do not need to
respond in full sentences):
▪
When did you go on a trip?
▪
Which season of the year was it?
▪
Where did you go?
▪
Why did you go there?
▪
Who did you go with?
▪
What did you see?
Remind pupils that each wh-question word elicits a different type of answer. "what" = things,
"when" = time or date, "where" = place, "who" = person, "why" = answer with "because".
