Read the title of the story together with the pupils: Alex

Remind pupils that they have seen Alex previously in the
Unit (at the World Market). Remind pupils that Alex is
Soo's brother.

Say: Look at the pictures from the story. What do you see?
(Elicit some vocabulary from the images on the page, for
example: photographs, elephants, bag, food, water, etc.)

Before reading the story, say: Let’s listen and number the pictures.

2 I am in Kenya, Africa. Yesterday, I saw two lions and a family of elephants!
3 I am in Thailand. I am in the water with my new friends.
