Have pupils turn to the person sitting next to them and say: Good morning/afternoon. How are
you?
Ask: What day is it today? (Elicit the full date and write it on the board: Today is (Sunday), (April 21).)

Vocabulary
Game

Say: Let's play a game.
•
Review the vocabulary before playing the game: elephant, city, country, Israel, photograph,
telephone, town, travel, trip, visit, world.

Stop Me When… (game #5)

Say: Stop me when you see (an elephant).
▪
Start showing the flashcards one at a time. Keep showing the flashcards until the pupils shout
"Stop!"

Ask: What is this? (Elicit the word.)
▪
Repeat with all the words.
