Say: Let's say the months of the year. (Elicit the months of the year in the correct order.)

Ask different pupils: What month is your birthday? (Elicit the month)

Say: Look at the words. Which words have the letter Y? (Elicit: January, February, May, July)

Repeat for each month. Say the words again and emphasize the sound of Y.
