End of Unit Assessment

Explain that pupils will now do an activity to see how much they remember.
•
Say: Open your Course Books to page 127.
•
Say: Write your name in English. Show them where.
•
Review the instructions for each question and complete the listening task before
giving pupils some time to complete the remainder of the assessment on their
own.
1. Listen and number the clothes you hear:
1 This is a yellow coat.
2 This is a red dress.
3 These are short, green pants.
4 These are new pink boots.
5 This is a shirt with a lot of colors.
2. How much is it? Read and write the number next to each word.
3. Trace and complete the sentence according to the picture. Use the word box to help you.

Collect the assessments. After the lesson, mark the assessments on the Summary Sheet in
Appendix Va.

Tell pupils that you are so proud of them and how well they are doing in English.

Now you want to find out how they feel about learning English.
•
Explain that learning language takes time and everyone learns at a different pace, but in the end we
all learn.

Tell pupils they will assess how well they think they do the different things they have learned in this
unit. Tell them: What you think and feel about your learning is very important.

Explain that this is not a test.
