Say: Let's play a game.

Play the game to review the vocabulary: close, open, write, read, sleep, wake up, new, old, hot, cold,
long, short, put on, take off, black, white.

Review the vocabulary using the flashcards and/or gestures before playing the game.

Say one of the words on the board and have the pupils respond with its opposite: I say (close),
you say… (Elicit: open)

Hide the cards from the board once the pupils respond correctly.

The teacher may choose to play the game as a group competition in class.

sound in blue, and long /U/ sound in yellow.
