Say: Open your Course Books to page 82. Look at #1.

Read the dialogue together with the pupils:
What are you wearing?
I am wearing an orange shirt and black pants.

Demonstrate the dialogue with a volunteer to elicit what the pupils are wearing.
For weaker pupils, remind pupils that they can look at the words in the pictures
of the next task.

Say: Talk to a friend.

In pairs, have the pupils say the dialogue to each other, based on their clothes. Then, pupils
should switch roles and repeat the dialogue.

Say: Look at #2.
•
Say: Find the clothes you are wearing. Color those clothes to look like the ones you are wearing.

Demonstrate for yourself. Say what you are wearing: I am wearing a (green shirt, blue pants, and
black shoes).
▪
Color the shirt green, the pants blue, and the shoes black.

Give pupils a few minutes to complete the task.
•
Say: Now, let’s write.

Have pupils trace and complete the sentence according to how they colored the pictures: I am
wearing…and…
▪
Remind pupils that they can look at page 78 to help them write the color words.

Ask pupils to read what they wrote aloud by asking: What are you wearing?
•
Say: Open your Course Books to page 83. Look at #3.
•
Point to the girl and ask: Who is this? (Elicit or remind pupils: This is Anne.)

Read the title together with the pupils: What Am I Wearing?

Point to the different pictures of Anne and elicit some responses: (for
example: a blue/yellow/white shirt, yellow/black/blue shoes, etc.)
Say: Let's read and find out what Anne is wearing.

Read the text all the way through. Have pupils follow along in their Course
Books.
▪
Teach the new vocabulary word “too” through the context of the text (use L1 if needed to explain
the meaning).
Say: Circle Anne according to the text.
▪
Ask: What is Anne wearing? (Elicit: Anne is wearing a black hat, a white shirt, white socks, yellow
pants, and blue shoes.)
