Have pupils cut out the windows from page 13 of the Activity Book and glue them
onto page 12 where indicated.
Pupils will use their house with windows later on while listening to the story. Practice
using the house by saying "There are monkeys in the bedroom." and having pupils
open the bedroom window to reveal the monkeys.
Ac琀椀ng Out the Story: A Small House

Play the animated story A Small House and have pupils participate in this retelling of
the story by role playing the characters actions and emotions throughout the story.
Encourage pupils to use their house on Activity Book page 12 and produce the
vocabulary they have learned.
o Pupils should open the windows of each room to reveal the animals inside
according to the story. When the family takes all the animals out of the
house, the pupils should close all the windows, revealing the empty rooms
once again.
