Materials: Max the Puppet, Ac琀椀vity Books, 5 cra昀琀 s琀椀cks per pupil

Use Max the Puppet to greet the pupils and say: Hello, good morning. How are you?
(Elicit: I am fine, thank you.)
Go around the room with Max and ask the pupils: How do you feel? (Elicit: I feel
happy/sad/angry/surprised.)

Sing “Good Morning, Dear Pupils” (song #1.3).

Sing “If You're Happy and You Know It” (song #2.8) to review the emotions.
Do the gestures and facial expressions for each verse of the song and have pupils
copy you.

Play Number/Picture Game (game #4) to review the numbers (1-10) and review the
words: cat, hen, cow, monkey, duck, house, kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom
Review the words before playing the game.

Sing “Animals in the House” (song #2.7) to review the animals and rooms of the
house from the story.

Together with the pupils, complete the task on page 12 of the Activity Book.
Show pupils where to find the stickers at the back of the Activity Book.
Have pupils listen and put the stickers in the correct rooms:
1. There are monkeys in the bedroom.
2. There are cats in the bathroom.
3. There are cows in the kitchen.
