Use Max the Puppet to greet the pupils and say: Hello. Good morning.
Go around the room with Max and ask the pupils: Are you a boy or a girl?

Sing “Good Morning, Dear Pupils” (song #1.3).

Play Number/Color Game (game #9) to review all the numbers (1-5) and colors:
blue, red, yellow, green, orange

Review the words before playing the game.

Together with the pupils, complete the task on page 11 of the Activity Book.
Have pupils listen and color the ducks’ hats:
1. yellow 2. red 3. green 4. orange 5. blue
Have pupils cut out the pictures and make Five Little Ducks stick puppets by gluing
them onto craft sticks.
When pupils are finished, practice using the stick puppets by saying a color and
having pupils hold up the correct puppet.
After the lesson, have pupils save their stick puppets for use later on.
