Just a Peek (game #7)
Play the game with the vocabulary: bathroom, bedroom,
kitchen, laundry room, living room, room.
Show a covered flashcard with only one corner visible.
Ask: What is this?
Have pupils guess the word. If they don’t know, reveal another corner.
Continue until they get the answer correct, then reveal the whole card.
Repeat with all the words.

Teach the new lexical chunk: Where is…?
Show flashcards one at a time and ask: Where is _____ ? (Max/the
girl/Father/the clown) is in the (bedroom/bathroom/kitchen/living room).
Act out the sentences with Max to illustrate the meaning.
Show ‘bathroom’ flashcard and ask: Where is (Max)?
Have the pupils respond: (Max) is in (the bedroom).
Repeat for each word.
