Explain that pupils will now do an activity to see how much they remember.

Say: Open your books to page 31.
•
Say: Write your name in English. Show them where. Pupils can copy
their name from Course Book page 8.

Say: Listen and do what I say.
1. Color the circle blue.
2. Circle the number 5.
3. Circle listen.
4. Circle the baby.
5. Circle “Grib can jump.”
6. Circle sad.
7. Color the circle green.
8. Circle the number 7.
9. Circle “Grib can swim.”
10. Circle the sun.

Collect the assessments. After the lesson, mark the assessments on the Assessment
Activity Summary Sheet in Appendix V a.
Self-Assessment

Tell pupils that you are so proud of them and how well they are
doing in English. Say: I am so proud of you!

Now you want to find out how they feel about learning English.

Explain that learning a language takes time and everyone learns at a
different pace, but in the end we all learn.

Tell pupils they will assess how well they think they do the different
things they have learned in this unit. Tell them: What you think and feel about your
learning is very important.
