Show Me… (game #9)
Play the game with the puppets the pupils have made: Father Frog, Mother Frog,
Brother Frog, Sister Frog, and Baby Frog.
Ask: Where is (Brother Frog)?
Have pupils hold up the correct puppet and say: Here is (Brother Frog)!
Choose a pupil to run the game and ask: Where is (Father Frog)?
Act It Out
•
Read the story Grib and His Frog Family (or play the audio file).
•
Have pupils listen to the story.
•
Encourage pupils to produce the vocabulary they learned.
•
Act out and do gestures for the story, and have pupils use their Frog Family puppets
to act out the story.
•
When the character is mentioned in the story, pupils should hold up the correct
puppet and do the actions.
