Just a Peek (game #7)
Play the game with the vocabulary: world, legs, sun, sky, jump, walk, swim.
Show a covered flashcard with only one corner visible.
Ask: What is this?
Have pupils guess the word. If they don’t know, reveal another corner.
Continue until they get the answer correct, then reveal the whole card.
Repeat with all the words.

Teach the new lexical chunks: What do you want to do? I want to…
Show flashcards one at a time and ask: What do you want to do? I want to
(jump/run/swim/leave).
Show ‘jump’ flashcard and ask: What do you want to do?
Have the pupils respond and do the gesture: I want to jump.
Repeat for each word.

Say: I want to… and act out an action.
Have pupils say what you are doing.
Have pupils take turns coming to the front of the class and say: I want to… and
act out a word.
