Finger Game (game #5)
Hold up fingers and ask pupils to tell you the correct number. Ask: How many?
Say a number and ask pupils to hold up the correct number of fingers.
Song

Teach and sing “1, 2, 3 Little Children” (song #1.28)
•
Hold up your fingers and count with the song. Have pupils do the same.
•
When you sing the words "children" and "boys and girls," point to different pupils in
the classroom to convey the meaning.

Count the frogs together with the class. Elicit: I see three frogs.
Repeat with the other pictures.
