Have the pupils practice with you and then have several pupils practice with Max.

Vocabulary
Review

Review the vocabulary using the flashcards: family, father, mother, brother, sister,
baby.
Ask: Who remembers? (Elicit the words.)
Have pupils repeat the words.

New

Teach the new vocabulary using the flashcards and/or gestures.
Present each card one at a time and say the words: big, book, jump, swim,
water.
