Act It Out
•
Play the digital story Mike is Late for School without the visuals.
•
Have pupils listen to the story.
•
Encourage pupils to produce the vocabulary they learned.
•
Act out and do gestures for the story, and have the pupils copy you.
•
Have pupils act out Mike's actions and emotions in the story.
•
Use props – a book (you can use the Course Book), red and purple crayons, pencil,
bag – to help “Mike” act out the story or, if possible, have pupils each use their own
supplies.
