Play the game with the vocabulary: clock, late, light, morning, night.
Show a covered flashcard with only one corner visible.
Ask: What is this?
Have pupils guess the word. If they don’t know, reveal another corner.
Continue until they get the answer correct, then reveal the whole card.
Repeat with all the words.

Review the prepositions and the lexical chunk: Where is…?

Use school items to elicit responses. Put a bag on a chair and ask: Where is the bag?
(Elicit: The bag is on a chair.)
Repeat with other classroom objects and elicit:

The book is near the window.

The crayons are in the bag.
Have the pupils do the gestures for the prepositions to illustrate the meaning.
