Teach the new vocabulary using the flashcards.
Present each card one at a time and say the words: pink, purple.
Have pupils repeat the words.

Teach and sing “Colors of the Rainbow” (song #1.25)
Game
•
Three in a Row (game #21)
Play the game with the colors: red, blue, yellow, green, orange, brown, white,
pink, purple.
Show three randomly chosen vocabulary flashcards slowly.
Tell pupils to remember the colors they see.
Hide the cards.
Ask: Who remembers?
Have a pupil say all three colors in the correct order. If the pupil is correct, reveal
the cards.
If the pupil made a mistake, ask the class if another pupil can help, and then have
the first pupil repeat the right words.
Shuffle the cards to do this several times to review different words.
