Go around the room and have Max ask different pupils different questions:
Are you a (boy/girl)? (Elicit: Yes, I am a (boy). / No, I am not a (boy).)
How do you feel? (Elicit: I feel happy/sad/afraid/angry/surprised.)
How many brothers/sisters do you have? (Elicit: I have _____ brothers/sisters.)
Do you have a pet? (Elicit: Yes, I have a (cat/dog). / No.)

Sing “If You’re Happy and You Know It” (song #1.21) with gestures.
Vocabulary
Review
•
Review the vocabulary using the flashcards: airplane, bus, car, bicycle, ship, train.
Ask: Can you come by…? (Elicit the words.)
Have pupils repeat the words.
ICT

Play the game to review the vocabulary: airplane, ship, train, bus, bicycle, car,
telephone, trip, work, surprised, afraid, angry, happy, dog, truck, birthday, cake,
gift, pet, house.
Divide the class into two teams. Have a pupil come to the front of the classroom
to play.
Say: Listen and pop the correct balloon based on the word you hear.
Click to pop the correct balloon.
If the pupil pops the wrong balloon, or after three questions (whichever is first), a
