The Cube Game (game #2)
Use the cube on the emotions side.
Throw the cube in the air and let it land on the floor.
Ask: How do you feel? (Elicit: I feel _____ .)
Repeat this a few times.
Now, toss the cube to a pupil and ask: How do you feel? (Elicit the emotion of
the side that faces up: I feel _____ .)
Have the pupil toss the cube to another pupil and ask: How do you feel?
Repeat this until many pupils have had a turn.

Say: Point to (surprised). Is he a boy or a girl? (Elicit: He is a boy.)
Ask: How does the (boy) feel? (Elicit: The (boy) feels surprised.)
Repeat for all the pictures.

Say: Draw a line from the boy or girl to how they feel.
•
Reveal to check answers.
•
Ask: What color is (surprised)? (Elicit: blue)
Repeat for all the emotions.
•
Say: Open your books to page 100.
•
Ask: Who do you see? (Elicit: I see Mom/Dad/Baby/sisters/Jamal.)
•
Say: Listen and write the correct number in the box.
1. Dad feels afraid.
2. Mom feels happy.
3. The sisters feel angry.
4. Jamal feels surprised.
5. Baby feels sad.

Reveal to check answers.
•
Ask: Look at picture #1. Who do you see? (Elicit: I see Mom.)
Ask: How does (Mom) feel? (Elicit: Mom feels happy)
