Number/Picture Game (game #15)
Show the flashcards: coat, cold, gloves, outside, bed, chair, hat, play, scarf,
window.
Write the numbers 1-10 below each picture.
Say a word that is on one of the flashcards. Tell the pupils to look at the number
under the picture and say the number while holding up the correct number of
fingers.
Alternate by you saying a number and the pupils replying with the corresponding
word.
After a few turns, shuffle the words on the board so that the numbers change.

Review the lexical chunk: Where is…?
•
Show the flashcards ‘girl’, ‘on’, and ‘chair’ and ask: Where is the girl? (Elicit: The girl
is on the chair.)
Repeat with other flashcards and elicit:

Grandfather is in the laundry room.

Grandmother is near the window.

Brother is under the bed.
Have the pupils do the gestures for the prepositions to illustrate the meaning.

Where is Father? (game #ICT4)
Play the game to review the rooms of the house and the family members:
bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room, father, mother, brother, sister, baby,
grandmother, grandfather.
Ask: What rooms do you see? (Elicit: I see a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen,
living room.)
Say: Listen and put the family member in the correct room.
Say: (Father) is in the (kitchen).
Invite a different pupil to the front to find each of the family members and drag
