Show flashcards and ask:
What sound do you hear at the beginning of the words living room/
listen/leave? (Elicit: /l/)
Do you have the same sound /l/ in your language?
What sound do you hear at the beginning of the words window/water/walk?
(Elicit: /w/)
Do you have the same sound /w/ in your language?
What sound do you hear at the end of the words kitchen/brown/balloon?
(Elicit: /n/)
Do you have the same sound /n/ in your language?

Teach the new vocabulary using the flashcards.
Present each card one at a time and say the words: bed, chair, pillow, toaster,
washing machine, cat, silly.
Have pupils repeat the words and gestures.
ICT

What is in the House? (game #ICT3)
Play the game to review the vocabulary: bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living
room, chair, bed, pillow, toaster, door, window.
Ask: What rooms do you see? (Elicit: I see a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living
room.)
Invite a different pupil to the front to find each of the objects in the rooms.
Say: Listen and click on the objects in the picture.
Ask: Where is the chair? (Elicit: The chair is in the bedroom/kitchen.)
Call on different pupils to come to the front and click on the objects.
Repeat with the other objects.
Ask: What is in the (kitchen)? (Elicit: a chair/toaster/window)
Repeat with the other rooms.
