Go around the room and have Max ask different pupils:
Good morning. How are you? (Elicit: I am fine, thank you.)
Are you a (boy/girl)? (Elicit: Yes, I am a (boy). / No, I am not a (boy).)
Are you (happy/sad)? (Elicit: Yes, I am (happy/sad). / No.)

Chant the “Classroom Management Chant” (song #1.9) and have pupils do the
gestures.

Review the vocabulary using the flashcards: room, bathroom, bedroom, kitchen,
laundry room, living room.
Ask: Who remembers? (Elicit the words.)
Have pupils repeat the words.
